Job Objective:

Your role:

Project Planning: Conduct preliminary planning and project evaluation, establish PDT organization, and collaborate with project managers for project initiation. Develop and control the project development budget.
Drawing Breakdown and Conversion: Analyze customer product drawings and create process station drawings. Organize dimensional tolerance chain analysis and ensure accuracy.
Product Design: Participate in the review and feasibility assessment of new projects' 2D/3D drawings. Responsible for Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Bill of Materials (BOM) & Routing, yield analysis, template development, and evaluation of trial production stage molds/fixtures.
Technical Customer Interface: Engage with customers to discuss various technical solutions and process flows. Handle customer Design of Experiments (DOE) during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase and provide result reports.
Technical Standardization: Analyze and evaluate process capability, technical parameters, quality standards, yield rates, and packaging specifications during NPI trial production. Collect, assess, and determine engineering standards.
Product Implementation: Drive the technical realization of products and successfully facilitate trial/production. Lead Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), build reports, and trial production reports.
Project Management: Assist in coordinating various department, including Quality Engineering (QE), Production Engineering (PE), Project Management (PM), Manufacturing, Quality Control (QC), Mold Design, Mold Manufacturing, Measurement, Warehouse, and Procurement. Complete template development and submission to customers as per their requirements (PM leads, PD assists).
Technical Improvement: Lead process improvement during NPI, follow up on sample build trials, and organize problem identification, analysis, and resolution for quality issues during trial production. Ensure timely submission of follow-up records or reports such as MIL, TIL, FACA reports, Yield reports, CPK/FAI abnormality improvement reports, etc.
Project Review: Regularly review and summarize technical, quality, measurement, and process aspects with the PM and PDT team. Assist PE in resolving significant engineering anomalies after template/trial production and promote timely implementation and standardization of improvement measures.
Complete other assigned tasks in a timely manner as directed by superiors.

What we are looking for:

Degree or above in Engineering, Mechanical, or Materials Science;
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product development and project management, with a strong engineering background;
Experience in independently managing projects with foreign clients is preferred;
Strong project planning and control abilities, with in-depth knowledge of cost control;
Familiarity with product design and manufacturing processes;
Knowledge of die casting processes, injection molding, and mold-related experience;
Proficient in engineering data analysis using tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Capability Analysis (CPK), and 8D problem-solving methodology;
Skilled in process management and data analysis;
Excellent communication skills and presentation.
